Kevin Mitchell is currently the President and General Manager of Seven M Construction and he is directly in charge of all operations. Kevin has over 35 years of experience in all areas of operations including estimating, project management of large projects worth over $6,500,000, managing rough grade and fine grade operations, tree planting operations, landscape operations, excavation, graveling and asphalt operations.

Roger Mitchell is currently Seven M Construction’s Landscape Services Manager. He has been supervising landscape projects of all sizes from $5,000 to $5,000,000 for thirty-five years and is responsible for multiple crews of ten to fifty workers and managing subcontractors. He has a strong knowledge base of rough grade, fine grade, tree planting, landscape operations, seeding, sodding, retaining wall installation, paving stone installation, excavation, graveling and asphalt operations. Roger directly managed the Edmonton South LRT project for Seven M and managed all crews and sub contractors to bring this project in on time and on budget.

Scott Lindquist is currently our Business Developer and a Project Manager for Seven M Construction. He holds a Landscape Architectural Technology diploma from NAIT as well as a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Guelph. Scott is a Registered Landscape Architect with the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects and prior to working with Seven M, Scott worked as a consultant. He has 7 years worth of experience in landscape construction, consulting and project management. Scott bids all types of jobs with values of $25,000,000 or more including landscaping, asphalt and gravel supply and install.

Chris Payne is currently a Project Superintendent for Seven M Construction. He has been supervising landscape projects of all sizes from $5000 to $6,500,000 for eight years and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta.  Chris has strong knowledge of rough grade, fine grade, tree planting, landscape operations, seeding, sodding, retaining wall installation, paving stone installation and excavation. He worked directly under the supervision of Roger Mitchell as Site Foreman on the Edmonton South LRT project and helped manage all crews and subcontractors to bring this project in on time and on budget. Chris is also our soil cell specialist and has completed successful soil cell installation in several sites. Chris’s daily duties include safety meetings, site orientations, daily meetings with employees and subcontractors to set objectives, daily progress reports to consultants and to the Project Manager to ensure quality control and that the schedule is met on time.

Daryn Humble is currently a Project Superintendent for Seven M Construction. He has been supervising landscape projects of all sizes for 7 years. Daryn has a strong knowledge of residential development landscaping and specializes in the construction of storm ponds, parks and various other types of municipal reserves. Daryn holds a certified pesticide applicator license. On a daily routine, he manages multiple crews and sub contractors to achieve the correct completion of projects on time. Daryn's daily duties include safety meetings, tailgate meetings, meetings with consultants, engineers and municipal inspectors, progress reports to developers and consultants, and overall supervision of employees and contractors to ensure projects are done correctly and in a timely manner.

Mae Kapler is currently the Office Manager and the Health and Safety Coordinator for Seven M Construction. As the Office Manager, she supervises a staff of seven and manages and maintains the financial records. She has also been managing our Health & Safety Program since its inception in 2003 and has been responsible for the Health & Safety of up to 100 employees and numerous subcontractors. Her duties include safety meetings, site orientations, site inspections, accident and incident investigations, and maintaining and updating training for our staff. She reports directly to Kevin, our General Manager, to ensure that all safety mandates are met.

Eric Kapler is currently a superintendent for Seven M Construction. With a diploma from Olds College in Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Management, Eric is a great asset to Seven M. As of May 2015, Eric is also an ISA Certified Arborist (PR-5088A) and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified.

He has been supervising landscaping projects of all sizes from $5,000 to $2,000,000 for eight years. Eric has strong knowledge of rough grade, fine grade, tree planting, landscape operations, seeding, sodding, retaining wall installation, paving stone installation and excavation. Eric is our City of Edmonton specialist, combining knowledge and experience to achieve compliance on these sites. He worked directly under the supervision of Kevin Mitchell, our general manager, as Project Superintendent on the Athabasca University project and helped manage all crews and subcontractors to bring this project in on time and on budget. Eric’s regular duties include safety meetings, site orientations, daily meetings with employees and subcontractors to set objectives, daily progress reports to consultants and to the Project Manager to ensure quality control and that the schedule is met on time.

Thomas Fairley is currently a Maintenance Superintendent for Seven M Construction.  He has earned both a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Horticulture and a Diploma in Landscape Management from Old College which makes him a fantastic asset to Seven M. As of May 2015, we are excited to announce that Thomas is also an ISA Certified Arborist (PR-2089A) and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. Thomas is also holds a certified pesticide applicator license. With over six years of experience in commercial landscaping and maintenance, Thomas has the education and the experience to maintain sites and take them from CCC to FAC with the City of Edmonton, Strathcona County and the City of St Albert.
