Landscape Labourer

Location: Various locations in Edmonton and the surrounding area, AB
Salary: $19.25 to $23.00 / hour (salary based on experience) (salary increases per company policy)
Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, Full-time (44 hours/week), Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend; Overtime and holidays may be required.

Work setting: Landscape contractor, park and recreation sites, urban area, commercial

Equipment and Machinery Used: Roto-tiller, Tractor mower, Weed trimmer/edger, Lawn mowers, Shovel
Duties
· Assist with landscape constructions
· Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
· Cut grass
· Rake and collect refuse
· Remove litter and garbage
· Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
· Lay sod or seed
· Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
· Apply fertilizers
· Rake and spread topsoil to grade
· Install mulch and other decorative rock
· Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
· Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
· May drive some small equipment
