Landscaping Supervisor (Groundskeeping/Landscaping Supervisor) (NOC 82031)

Location: Various locations in Edmonton and the surrounding area, AB
Salary: $27.00 to $37.00/ hour ( salary increases per company policy)
Hours: 40 hours per week in Winter and 50 hours in Summer
Vacancies: 4
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: No education required
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Ability to Supervise: 5 – 10 people
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed Safety Boots

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, Ability to distinguish between colours, Large workload, Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads
Weight Handling: Up to 23kg (50lbs)

Area of Specialization: Lawn care, Tree service, Grounds maintenance, Landscape construction, Nursery or greenhouse
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Sod cutter, Chain saw, Small engine equipment, Tractor mower
Duties
- Plan and direct grounds maintenance
- Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work
- Hire, Supervise and Schedule staff
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Resolve work-related problems
- Train other workers
- Supervise other workers
- Perform the same duties as other workers supervised
